Our Technopole at the Smart City Expo World Congress

From 5 to 7 November, at Fira Barcelona, we took part in the international event on Smart Cities, a sector in full evolution thanks to strong investments by governments and companies.

The buzz is palpable, with projects from all corners of the world (particularly Northern Europe, Arab countries and Asia). However, the various workshops we attended not only provided insights into co-design, but also posed crucial questions: how can we ensure that technologies do not neglect the human element?

Indeed, the experts stressed the importance of an ethical and inclusive approach to the digital world, especially to guarantee the rights of the most vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and people with disabilities.
#ethics, #inclusiveness and #health preservation, therefore: at the Bologna-Ozzano Technopole we work for safer and more liveable cities, integrating digital solutions for cognitive wellbeing and health in all age groups. With an eye to the future, we work together to design cities that are on a human scale, focusing on sustainability and social engagement.

The future of cities is near and our Technopole is committed to scientific research and supporting digital, yet human-centric solutions.
