Research and innovation at the Bologna-Ozzano “Rita Levi-Montalcini” Technopole

Welcome to the website of the Bologna-Ozzano Technopole named after “Rita Levi-Montalcini”

Our facility includes industrial research and technology development laboratories.
Throughout Emilia-Romagna there are 11 Technopoles located in 20 locations throughout the territory, which form a network of infrastructures aimed at industrial research, experimental development and activation of technology transfer.

The Bologna Technopole, located at the IRET Foundation headquarters in Ozzano dell’Emilia, covers an area of 750 square meters and is positioned on a total area of 10,000 square meters.

Inside there are laboratories for cell culture, morphology, proteomics, cell biology, molecular biology, advanced microscopy (2D, 3D, 4D) and image analysis as well as an animal facility including microsurgery and complex behavior analysis.

Through the Technopole and its staff, companies access activities and services offered by the entire network of Technopoles and High Technology Network laboratories.

The Bologna Technopole, Ozzano dell’Emilia “Rita Levi-Montalcini” site, promotes the meeting between companies and research by providing know-how, equipment, and dedicated spaces.
