Scientific Research
The research carried out within the laboratories housed in the Bologna-Ozzano Technopole aims to identify innovative strategies to counter the progression of these diseases, repair their damage, and identify the causes to prevent their onset.
At IRET Foundation’s laboratories, inaugurated in 2012, numerous research projects have been activated, supported by both competitive calls and research contracts with companies.
The projects are managed by IRET Foundation or by other research organizations pertaining to the University of Bologna (UniBo), whose research activities are carried out in part at IRET laboratories on the basis of a multi-year research collaboration agreement.
