Welcome to the website of Bologna Technopole “Rita Levi Montalcini”.

Our facility hosts research laboratories and belongs to a network of 10 infrastructures focusing on industrial research, development and technological transfer.
Bologna Technopole, located in Ozzano dell’Emilia, carries out its activities in the buildings belonging to IRET Foundation (750 sqm on a total land area of 10.000 sqm).

Inside the Technopole there are several laboratories (morphology and cell biology, advanced microscopy and image analysis, proteomics and molecular biology, microsurgery and behavioral analysis connected with a modern animal facility.

The Technopole’s mission it to offer easy access to the regional network of High Technologies Labs and all the services related.

Bologna Technopole “Rita Levi Montalcini” promotes an effective matching between companies and research centers, offering also know-how, instruments and spaces.

The development and management of the Technopoles is included among the activities co-financed by EU funds through the regional POR FESR 2014-2020. A portion of the funds received comes from the Development and Cohesion Fund FSC 2014-2020.
This projects goal is to create connections between companies and research laboratories belonging to the High Technology Network, offering at the same time assistance and promoting partnerships with all the stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.
